If you are looking for that special place to show off your new monologue, short play, circus act, poem, performance piece, song, puppet show, improv, sketch, mini opera, or modern dance, No Shame Theater is your place. This nationwide, grassroots performance experience has recently made a home in Portland. We are seeking writers and performers of all genres, all ages, all abilities, and all experience levels to make this project thrive. Come check it out, create, perform, or just watch some of the most surprising, dynamic, and inspiring theatre being made in Portland today. The second and fourth Friday of each month at The Brooklyn Bay.

The rules of the game:

Friday nights, show up at The Brooklyn Bay by 10:00pm if you want to perform

Your piece must be original (but does not have to be written by you) and five minutes or shorter in length

Don't break any laws, props, or body parts

Everything legal is welcome: productions with costumes and props, staged readings with script in hand, experiments, improvisational musings. You can rehearse beforehand, or you can just show up and jam

Everyone pays the $5 entry fee, performers and audience alike

It's all in the name of fun, and there is always No Shame. More info at
